Synopsis

Myong-hee (JENNIFER SUN BELL) has been betrayed at an early age by the men closest to her. In her early teens, the physical, emotional and mental abuse escalate to unimaginable proportion, which prompts her decision to run away from her supposed safe haven (her home) and inadvertently finds herself in greater danger on the streets of Atlanta, after meeting her supposed savior/prince charming Zoo/Daddy (DUAIN RICHMOND MARTYN). She must now fight for her life and sanity and decide how her life will end, a victim or a survivor?



Biography

Writer/Producer/Director, ROBINSON VIL, relocated to Atlanta in 1992 from his native Haiti, graduated from Henderson High School and attended Georgia State University before discovering his passion for film. His first foray into directing in 2001 was driven by his desire to act; the warm reception from family and friends encouraged him to continue, but first and foremost as a filmmaker. From there, he went on to write, produce and direct a short film every year thereafter. Mr. Vil’s fourth short film entitled “Dark Secrets” was officially selected in 2006 at the Urban Mediamakers Film Festival, the 15th Annual Pan African Film Festival in 2007, the largest film festival of filmmakers descended from the African Diaspora, where “Dark Secrets” was nominated for “Best Short Film” and more recently at the 3rd Annual Black Women’s Film Preservation Project Festival. Mr. Vil’s passion to tell real stories that the average person can identify with, has led to his writing, producing and directing of “life.less” in the years 2010-2011 (Recently nominated (2012) at the 13th Annual BareBones Int. Film Festival for: Best Actress in a leading role and Best Picture Drama. This film is a story based on actual events that have happened and are happening right now. Mr. Vil is also in pre-production on 3 other projects to be out in 2012-2014
